Abu Simbel activates cellular memory as we begin our journey in the ruby red light of the Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine. Here we become aware of the masculine and feminine energies as we look to the temple of Ramses and Hathor (dedicated to his wife Nefertari). Many initiates feel the stir of the Kundalini as she awakens from a deep sleep to begin her ascent along the astral spine through each one of the Chakra points or temples along the Nile.
Every step of the way we walk as embodiments of love created in the image and likeness of God with one goal in mind; to awaken and align perfectly with the omnipotence of the Christ within. God Is, I am, All is well.
The Journey Begins
Our journey begins aboard our luxury cruise ship on Lake Nasser, with mystery school teachings, transformational root chakra work with Dehyana and visiting sacred sites. This precious time in the Root Chakra energy allows the magic of the healing water to activate our memory and intuition.
We’re now ready to begin the path of initiation at Abu Simbel; where Spirit descends into matter.
As we approach Abu Simbel, we see two temple sites. To the left, four giant seated statues of the Pharaoh, more than 20m (65 ft) high come into view, activating our imagination and memory. What do these ancient faces portray?
To the right, the elegant temple of Hathor – which Ramses dedicated to his wife Nefertari; the divine feminine. We ask ourselves ‘What is the spiritual significance?’
Within the temple of Ramses, in the holy sanctuary, sit the statues of the Pharaoh deified, along with Amon-Ra, Ra-Horakty, and P’tah. Twice a year, at the equinoxes, the Sun’s rays penetrate the temple – flooding the statues of Amon, Ra-Horakty and Ramses with light, while P’tah remains in the dark. What did the ancients know? And what messages are they conveying to you, the initiate?
“So many mysteries are coded into the sacred temple site of Abu Simbel – just waiting for you, as an initiate of light, to discover them!”
Not only is this temple site deeply rooted in Esoteric teachings, it is also the site of a truly astonishing engineering feat. In the 1960s, the new Aswan Dam was built to control the Nile floods, creating Lake Nasser. As a result, nearly 2 dozen sites had to be moved to higher ground. Overseen by UNESCO, the giant figures of Ramses II were carefully sliced into a series of 20-tonne blocks, slowly moved away from the lake piece by piece and fitted back together like a giant puzzle!
The process took over 4 years and the relocation was so precisely measured that twice a year, on the equinoxes, the rising sun still illuminates the faces of the Gods within the inner sanctuary. The combined efforts of the greatest minds of the time managed to literally relocate the temple site, preserving its mystery for the world to admire. Even this historical event has spiritual significance.
