The Call to Bosnia

Some places you visit.

Others seem to visit you.

Bosnia is one of those places.

At first glance, it’s an overlooked corner of Europe—a land of emerald rivers, medieval towns, dramatic mountains, and remarkable natural beauty. But beneath its landscapes lies something difficult to describe. A country shaped by mystery, ancient history, profound suffering, enduring faith, and an extraordinary capacity for healing.

For Dehyana, the journey began decades ago through an unexpected call to Medjugorje and a lifelong fascination with the mysteries of our ancient world. As an explorer of Egypt, Peru, Bolivia, Jordan, Greece and beyond, the discovery of the Bosnian pyramids awakened a deep curiosity. Bosnia wasn’t just another destination to visit. It became another place she felt drawn to return to.

What we discovered wasn’t just another beautiful destination.

We discovered a place that opens the heart.

A place where laughter comes easily. Where prayer feels natural. Where beauty quiets the constant noise of everyday life, history deepens your perspective, mystery awakens your curiosity, and time in nature reminds you of what really matters.

Perhaps that’s Bosnia’s greatest gift: it has a way of bringing you back to your heart.

Is This Journey For You?

This pilgrimage may be for you if…

  • You long for more peace, stillness and time away from the noise of everyday life.

  • You feel drawn to places with deep spiritual significance.
  • You love history, mystery and ancient civilisations.
  • You’re seeking a deeper connection with your heart, your faith, or your inner life.

  • You find renewal in nature.

  • You’re looking for more than a vacation.

  • You enjoy meaningful conversations, shared experiences and travelling with like-minded people.

You don’t need to have all the answers. Just an open heart and a willingness to explore.

Through Our Eyes

A glimpse into the places, people and moments that made us fall in love with Bosnia.

A Different Kind of Pilgrimage

A pilgrimage is about more than the places you visit. It’s about how you experience them.

Travellers gathered outdoors for a morning reflection during a spiritual pilgrimage through Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Begin Each Day from the Heart

Rather than rushing from one destination to the next, we begin each morning together with a short reflection, prayer or meditation led by Dehyana. It’s a chance to open ourselves to whatever insights, experiences and connections the day may bring.

Time to Experience, Not Just See

Throughout the journey, we create space to pause, reflect and simply be present. Whether you’re walking through the Ravne tunnels, sitting quietly in nature or climbing Apparition Hill, you’ll have time to experience each place rather than simply checking it off a list.

Some places ask you to slow down. Bosnia is one of them.

Meaningful Conversations

One of the greatest gifts of travelling together is the conversations that happen along the way.
Questions are welcomed. Stories are shared. Perspectives shift. Many guests tell us they learn as much from the conversations, reflections and shared experiences as they do from the places themselves.

Spiritual Insights Along the Way

Spiritual growth isn’t confined to a classroom.

As opportunities arise, Dehyana shares reflections drawn from decades of spiritual study—including A Course in Miracles—helping connect the places we visit with the journey unfolding within each of us.

Pilgrimage Meets Adventure

Spiritual growth isn’t confined to a classroom.

One moment you may be standing in quiet prayer. The next you’re wandering medieval streets, sharing a leisurely lunch overlooking the Adriatic or laughing with new friends.

We believe the sacred is woven into everyday life. Some of the deepest moments happen in silence. Others happen in the simple joy of fully experiencing the world around you.

Led by Those Who Love This Place

You’ll travel with Dehyana and knowledgeable local guides who know Bosnia far beyond the typical tourist route.

Together, they bring the country’s history, culture and spirituality to life, helping you experience Bosnia through the eyes of those who know and love it.

A Personal Invitation

Every journey has the potential to change us—not because of where we go, but because of how deeply we allow ourselves to experience it.

Bosnia is one of those rare places that invites us to slow down, become present, and listen to the quiet wisdom within. As we travel together through sacred sites, breathtaking landscapes and places shaped by both suffering and resilience, we also create space for our own inner journey.

Each morning we’ll begin with a short reflection, prayer or meditation before setting out together. Along the way there will be moments of conversation, laughter, silence and unexpected insight. No two pilgrimages are ever the same because each group brings its own unique spirit.

My hope is that you return home carrying more than beautiful photographs. That you leave with greater peace, renewed perspective, meaningful friendships, and memories that continue to unfold long after the journey has ended.

If your heart feels drawn to this pilgrimage, I would be honoured to welcome you.

With love,
Dehyana
