What Is BreathWorks?

BreathWorks is a guided conscious connected breathing practice that helps you reconnect with your body, release stored emotional tension, quiet the mind, and return to a deeper state of presence.

For over 30 years, I’ve been facilitating private and group BreathWorks sessions for people navigating grief, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, spiritual awakening, life transitions, and the desire for deeper inner connection.

Through rhythmic conscious breathing, participants often experience emotional release, clarity, peace, renewed energy, and a profound sense of connection within themselves.

The Breath as a Gateway

I have been “breathing” people for over 30 years and founded this powerful technique of conscious connected breathing through a deeply personal life-altering experience; profound insight into the healing power of conscious breath and light force energy was revealed to me.

Over decades of facilitating BreathWorks, I’ve witnessed extraordinary transformations – from the release of addictions and debilitating anxiety disorders to the forgiveness of childhood trauma, deep spiritual openings and renewed connection to life itself. I have witnessed many miracles.

BreathWorks is an invitation to move beyond fear, reconnect with the divine presence within, and experience the transformative power of conscious breath; it is literally a fast track into the Kingdom of God.

The Deeper Experience

Every conscious breath you take brings you closer to your God self and by the end of the session, you’ll feel more physically and spiritually energised.

Not only does conscious breathing remove negative and emotional blocks, but it increases your awareness to stay in the present moment. This allows you to make choices that serve your highest good, and as a result be less dictated by old beliefs and traumas.

If you choose to stay conscious throughout the entire session you will have a direct experience of God in your body that will give you an amazing feeling of self confidence and self love.

I am not healing you. You are healing yourself.

But with the gift of spirit at my side, I will facilitate and love you while you draw on the power of your own breath to anchor more light and love into your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. It’s truly an exhilarating experience.

To help create a supportive and uninterrupted experience, please prepare the following before the session begins:

  • A quiet uninterrupted space
  • A pillow, yoga mat, or soft blanket
  • Water nearby
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Headphones for a more immersive experience

Participants are encouraged to wear white, as it helps set the tone for healing, openness, and conscious intention during the BreathWorks experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

No prior experience is necessary. BreathWorks is open to both beginners and experienced participants. Dehyana guides each session step-by-step so you feel supported throughout the process.

Conscious connected breathing is a rhythmic breathing technique in which the inhale and exhale are connected without pauses between breaths. This continuous flow of breath helps quiet the mind, release emotional tension, and bring greater awareness into the body and present moment.

Every experience is unique. Some participants feel deep peace and relaxation, while others may experience emotional release, clarity, physical sensations, heightened awareness, or a profound sense of connection and presence.

There is no “right” experience. BreathWorks simply invites you into a deeper relationship with yourself through the breath.

Most BreathWorks sessions last approximately 90 minutes.

Sessions typically begin with a short welcome, reflection, and time to set the intention for the experience together. This is followed by a full 60 minutes of guided conscious connected breathing.

At the end of the session, there’s time for integration, grounding, and optional sharing for those who feel called to share their experience.

At this time, BreathWorks sessions are offered live online, allowing participants from around the world to join from the comfort of their own space.

To help create a supportive and uninterrupted experience, please prepare the following before the session begins:

  • Set your device camera so Dehyana can see you clearly while you are lying down
  • A pillow and yoga mat or soft blanket
    (BreathWorks in bed is not recommended, as you may fall asleep)
  • A light blanket for warmth
  • Water nearby
  • Comfortable clothing
  • A quiet uninterrupted space
  • Headphones are recommended for a more immersive listening experience

Participants are encouraged to wear white as it sets the tone for the experience of healing.

It’s recommended that you avoid eating for approximately two hours before the session so the body can breathe more comfortably and deeply.

Yes. BreathWorks is spiritually rooted and guided by Dehyana’s understanding of consciousness, healing, presence, and the divine nature within all people.

Participants from many different backgrounds attend, and you are always invited to enter the experience in a way that feels authentic and aligned for you.

Sharing is always optional. At the end of the session, participants are invited to share, but there is never any pressure to speak.

Yes, BreathWorks can be a powerful experience, but participants are always encouraged to honour their bodies and move at a pace that feels supportive and safe.

Emotional release can sometimes arise naturally during conscious breathing. This is a normal part of the process for many people. Dehyana creates a compassionate and supportive space for whatever arises to be witnessed with compassion and presence.

BreathWorks is an invitation to reconnect with yourself through the power of conscious breath — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
