There’s a battle happening here… a metaphysical tug-of-war inside each of us. We stand between love and fear, between the material and the spiritual, between the ego and the soul. And the temple? It’s showing us this very choice.

Here in Kom Ombo we’re at the level of the solar plexus chakra, the third chakra. This is the seat of self-will, of personal power. But here’s the catch: it’s not about exerting your will over life. It’s about aligning your will with Divine will. That’s the invitation at Kom Ombo.

The Gemini Mirror: Two Paths, One Choice

In many ways, this temple is like standing inside the zodiacal sign of Gemini. Gemini is duality—the twins, the split, the choice. Do we follow the lower mind or the higher mind? Do we follow fear or choose love? God or Mammon? Kom Ombo asks us: who will you serve?

The Temple’s Design: A Metaphor in Stone

The temple is even physically split in two. The right side represents the material nature, the world of form, desire and survival. The left side represents the spiritual nature, the realm of higher consciousness, vision and soul.

The initiate would enter on the right, circling through the path of the material, journeying deeper and deeper, until… they make the choice. The moment they say yes to the higher nature, everything shifts.

Your Inner Kom Ombo: Choosing the Higher Path

And isn’t that the journey we’re all on? We live in the material world, we taste its pleasures, its struggles, and its illusions. But eventually, the soul calls. And at some point, we have to ask ourselves: will I keep circling in the lower path, or am I ready to rise?

Kom Ombo isn’t just a temple—it’s a mirror of the soul’s crossroads. It’s the Temple of Choice. And as we stand in its shadow, the question still whispers through the ages: Who will you serve?

This isn’t a one-time question. It’s the question life keeps asking, again and again—in every challenge, every relationship, every decision. And maybe today, standing at your own crossroads, the temple is rising within you, inviting you to choose.

So I invite you to pause. Feel into your solar plexus. Where is your will pointing? Are you aligned with fear, or with love? Are you circling the material, or ready to step onto the path of your higher nature?
