Hapi’s Embrace:
A Journey Through Time, Mystery and Destiny
By Dehyana

The Sacred Nile
Spanning over 4,000 miles from its source at Lake Victoria to its mouth at the Mediterranean, the Nile stands as the longest river in the world. Hapi, the Egyptian god of fertility and the Nile, embodies the sacred gift of the river’s annual flooding. This life-giving surge nourished the land, ensuring bountiful harvests and sustaining the very heartbeat of Egyptian civilisation.
One of the most enchanting ways to experience the timeless beauty of the Nile is to drift along its sacred waters aboard a luxury river cruise. As you sail past ancient temples and storied landscapes, you can’t help but wonder… Have you been here before? For me, the answer was yes. From the very first time I set foot in Egypt, she has called me back again and again!

A Journey of Remembrance
This year marks my 25th return to Egypt, and I’m celebrating in style—luxury included! As I write this, my heart is filled with love and gratitude for our beloved guide, Hazem, who was with us for so many years. Although Hazem is in spirit world now, he continues to speak highly of this tour, still insisting that it is one of the best ways to experience Egypt.
At the same time, I can’t help but think of my darling daughter, Jordy who is also in spirit world. She carried the mysteries of Egypt with her always, wearing a tattoo of Osiris and the Eye of Horus as a testament to her deep connection. She always dreamed of visiting Egypt. Makes me wonder if she’s connected with Hazem on the other side. However, this year, I’ll take her there in my heart.
This one’s for you, Jordy and Hazem. And how fitting that the god of the Nile is Hapi—it kind of says it all, doesn’t it?
Egypt Reveals What’s in Your Heart
On one of my earliest trips to Egypt, a severe sandstorm stranded me at the airport for two days. But let me tell you—missing the first few temples didn’t matter in the slightest. In that moment, Egypt revealed her truth to me: she shows you what’s in your heart. As I sat in that airport, completely present, my entire body vibrated with the frequencies of oneness, a smile stretched across my face. That was when I knew—Egypt sits on a crystal grid, and her energy was awakening something deep within me.

The Song of the Nile
Once the sandstorm subsided, I was taken straight to the cruise ship. I remember stepping aboard, taking in its grandeur, and feeling utterly blessed—like a queen. Elated and vibrating with excitement, I made my way to my room, and to my delight, I had a balcony. All I wanted in that moment was to sit outside. No—it was more than that. I felt pulled to the balcony, as if something was calling me. So I followed that instinct.
Sitting there, with an empty mind but a love-filled heart, the Nile began to sing to me. A thousand voices rose from the sacred waters in a choral melody—familiar, ancient. It was as if a thousand mothers were singing praises to me, to nature, to God. A fleeting moment in time, yet a memory that has never left me. The melody still plays in my heart. After returning home from that magical trip, I sat at my piano, and a song poured through me—Beautiful Nile. To this day, when I play it, I am there, on that balcony, wrapped in the sacred frequencies of life force in body, mind, and soul.

The Temples: A Journey Through the Chakras
As the ship sailed toward each temple, my heart would quicken—I could feel the pulse of the temple revealing what was held in the corresponding chakra. Like I said earlier, Egypt reveals.
As a teacher of the mysteries and a guide for countless initiates, I’ve witnessed this firsthand. I’ve seen initiates awaken to past-life memories, overcome by a sudden knowing. I’ve also seen emotions rise—sometimes joy, sometimes anger—because, as it’s often said, Egypt reveals what needs to be healed, integrated and embraced.
It’s absolutely amazing to witness.

Sacred Temples of Transformation
As we approach Philae, the sacred temple of Isis, I feel as though I’m being held in the womb of the Mother. Truly. Isis—powerful, intentional, and compassionate, guides you through your emotional work while cradling you in the depth of her love.
The ship docks at Kom Ombo, a massive double temple complex embodying the dual nature of the ego. Here, the initiate faces a choice: will I consciously choose love, or fall into the familiar grip of fear?
Then, onward to Edfu—the temple where the battle is won. Horus, the falcon-headed god, stands at the entrance, waiting. For those with eyes to see and ears to hear, the story of Atlantis is etched into the very stones of the University of Edfu, whispering its truth across time.

The Water of Return
There is so much more I could write, but I’ll save that for another time. Instead, I’ll leave you with a story that still makes me laugh every time I tell it.
On the very last morning of my exhilarating journey aboard the Moon Goddess cruise ship, I was standing at the bathroom sink, brushing my teeth. Just as I had every day for the past five days—brush, rinse, and drink. But on this morning, something caught my eye. A small note on the back of the sink.
It read: “Do not drink the water. It is direct from the Nile.”
What’s that saying? What you don’t know won’t hurt you? Well, for me, that was true. For five days, I had been drinking Nile water. Nothing happened.
When I mentioned it to Hazem, he smiled and said, “Mother Egypt will bring you back again and again. It is said that if you drink the water from the Nile, you belong to Egypt—and you will return.”
I laughed, but in my soul, I knew it was true.

A Soul Connection Across Lifetimes
Over many lifetimes, I have walked this sacred land. From Atlantis to Egypt, I have been a keeper of the mysteries, both a student and a priestess. And in this lifetime, I remain in service to the ancient teachings that live so deeply in my soul.
This year, for the first time, I will sail the Nile beneath the celestial backbone of the Milky Way, all the way to Cairo. Twelve glorious nights rocked to sleep by the sacred waters of the beautiful Nile.
I can only imagine what awaits us. But one thing I know for sure—it will be magnificent.
To the Nile god, Hapi, I thank you So be it. And so shall it be.
In Divine Love,
Dehyana
