The astrological year is drawing to a close, and with the Vernal Equinox on March 21st, we stand on the threshold of a new cycle. In the northern hemisphere, this moment marks the arrival of Spring…a rebirth, a resurrection and the return of life after the long sleep of winter. And nowhere is this journey of renewal more profoundly encoded than in the Avenue of Rams between Karnak and Luxor temples in Egypt.

The Symbolic Power of the Ram in Egyptian Mythology

To walk the Avenue of the Rams is to step into the consciousness of Aries, the sign of the I AM. The symbol for Aries is the majestic Ram, bold and brave, leading the zodiac as the first spark of life, the initiatory force of creation itself! Here at Luxor we see the Ram with the body of a lion reminding us that the age of peace and harmony are at hand.

Cradled between the paws of the Ram, Ramses II is depicted as Osiris, the god of resurrection and divine kingship—Divine man speaking the will of God. I AM whole, perfect, and complete. In the hero’s journey, from Aries to Pisces, the adventure is one of remembrance, a return to our true nature. This cosmic story is not only written in the stars but also etched in the stones of Mother Egypt, a living testament to the soul’s path of awakening.

The temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor embody the energy of Aries—the spark of creation, the primal force that sets all things into motion. Inscribed within the stones of these sacred sites are the mysteries of Divine Will in action. Here, we find Amun, the hidden god, the unseen force behind all existence. It is said that Amun spoke creation into being, but his divine word did not manifest in isolation. It was through Mut, the great mother, that this act of creation took form. His will spoke into her womb and all creation began. This is the cosmic dance of the masculine and feminine, the fusion of spirit and matter, the unseen becoming seen.

My Personal Spiritual Experience in Egypt

Nearly twenty five years ago, as I first walked the avenue of the Rams I had an experience that I’ll never forget. As a lifelong student of the mysteries, I approach Egypt with deep intention, every step is purposeful, every moment sacred.

On this particular night, as I began my meditative walk along the Avenue of Rams, they appeared. Out of nowhere, an entourage of luminous beings, both Masters and angels gathered around me as if to escort me forward. Serapis Bey, Archangel Gabriel, El Morya, Saint Germain, and countless others from the Brotherhood of Light stood in quiet recognition, their presence both reassuring and exhilarating. I felt seen, acknowledged, and deeply loved. A warmth spread through me and a knowing beyond words that we are never truly alone. At the time, I had no idea that the Ascension Temple of Serapis Bey resided above Luxor Temple. Only later did I learn this, a confirmation of what my soul already knew. Miracles abound, and on that night, I felt more alive than ever.

Luxor: The Temple of Man

In the ancient Mysteries, the temple of Luxor was known as the Temple of Man. Its very design mirrors the human body, revealing the cosmic blueprint within us. For me every time I go to Egypt and enter each temple along the ascension path I’m consciously aware that I’m here as an initiate to remember who I am and my experience always mirrors my intention. In Luxor Temple, life force energy moves through my spine. With every step I’m quiet and paying attention and I feel my chakras coming into harmonic resonance with the frequencies of divinity. I inwardly smile knowing that I am an eternal soul awakening to myself as the image and likeness of God, and I breathe in gratitude. To get the most out of my time in Egypt, I stay intentional and the results over all these years have been enlightening.

Egypt: A Sacred Map for Soul Awakening

Egypt is more than a place to visit, it is a sacred map for the initiate tracing the hero’s journey from darkness to light. With its countless power spots, sacred lakes, living Neters, and pulsing energy fields, it awakens something ancient within us. It calls forth the soul’s immortality, urging it to take command of every fiber of our being.

The Avenue of Rams tells a deeper story for those with eyes to see, and ears to hear. Aries, ruled by Mars, plays a pivotal role in your own hero’s journey. In your birth chart, Aries illuminates one of the twelve houses, activating an area of your psyche and issuing a call to awaken and to remember the I AM presence within.

It is a clarion call from heaven to rise up, stay true to your light and to walk the aisle of the Rams in every area of your life, guided by Spirit, speaking the will of God. Plant seeds of greatness and water them with the tenderness of a mother’s love.
